How To Get Here . . .

Getting to the West Coast is an exciting journey in itself. Travel through magical landscapes of coastline and seascape, temperate rainforests, mountains and valleys, villages and cityscape. With all the traveling options and frequent schedules, getting here is easy!

Our Location in Ucluelet

Upon your arrival in Ukee (easier to say than Ucluelet), you can check in to your Accommodation and ask them where Castaway can be found. So you know, the boat is located at the Boat Basin Government Dock on Hemlock Street.

The Dock

As you enter into the village of Ucluelet on the only main drag, you will immediately see the Canadian Princess Resort on your left. Take your first left after this, and it will bring you past the docks on your left and beside the West Coast Motel. Turn left at the end and slip into the parking lot on your left. You will see a large marina with private and commercial vessels. Look for the fish cleaning station beside the green office and go down the ramp to the docks. Just look for me on this dock I am easy to find being the largest Sport Charter Boat here see picture below.

Castaways Boat at the Government Dock

Travel across from the mainland on the ferry to Sidney or Nanaimo. Continue across the island on Hwy #4, through Port Alberni turning left at the Junction of Hwy #4 and the Ucluelet/Tofino Hwy.

Highway #4 is rather hilly and somewhat windy, however the scenery is breathtaking and worth the adventure! Come visit us on the edge!
